About Chestnut Hill
Chestnut Hill hosts many names associated with Newton, Brookline and Boston and has plenty to do from parks, to shopping, athletics, restaurants, theatre and museums to country clubs. Chestnut Hill offers residents an urban feel with the all-important access from Boston, “The Street” offers upscale shopping, restaurants, Chestnut Hill Mall and is on the T green line. Many homes were built primarily between 1880 and 1920.
Served by both Brookline Public Schools and Newton Public School also hosts private schools as well as Boston College and Pine Manor College. The Historic Districts of Chestnut Hill help preserve the character and history of this beautiful New England neighborhood. Examples of Colonial, Shingle, Tudor Revival and Victorian architectural styles can be seen in the village’s homes.
